This charming Mason's ”Fruit Basket” ginger jar with lid was made in England in the 1950s from high-quality ironstone china. It features stone fruit, grapes and berries gorgeously rendered on a cream background. The colors are rich reds, oranges, blues and greens with exquisite detailing. There are holes on the lid to allow ventilation for any produce you place inside it. This jar would be beautiful displayed any time of year but the colors lend themselves to late summer and autumn.
